Later supported the Mid-Course Guidance (MCG) upgrade program for the AGM-130 Smart Bomb. Duties included establishing and monitoring the program schedule, budget and quality performance, implementation of corrective changes as needed and coordinating development and submittal of proposals for new projects. Also led process improvement teams as needed and managed several of the major subcontractors. In 1990, headed the manufacturing planning and proposal team for the Brilliant Pebbles (part of the "Star Wars" initiatives) Concept Development Program in Seal Beach CA for it's six month duration. Also, implemented email and file sharing to improve communication.

One year later moved to position of Electronic Technician programming and maintaining automated assembly equipment.
