Work included establishing operating budgets ($80M), tracking of cost and schedule progress, staffing for initial production, identifying problems and assuring prompt resolution, developing and conducting customer training, supporting proposals for additional products. Also, developed site Intranet to improve self-access to project data and site policies (this grew to be called the largest corporate intranet in existence at the time).

Program Administrator performing budgeting, schedule planning and manufacturing program management for the US Air Force's GBU-15 and AGM-130 Smart Bomb programs. Later supported the Mid-Course Guidance (MCG) upgrade program for the AGM-130 Smart Bomb and upgrade program for the Egyptian Air Force (Peace Anubis). Duties included establishing and monitoring the program schedule, budget and quality performance, implementation of corrective changes as needed and coordinating development and submittal of proposals for new projects. Also led process improvement teams as needed and managed several of the major subcontractors. In 1990, headed the manufacturing planning and proposal team for the US DoD's Brilliant Pebbles Concept Development Program (part of the "Star Wars" initiatives) for it's six month duration. Also, implemented email and file sharing to improve communication (it was new technology then).

One year later moved to position of Electronic Technician programming and maintaining automated assembly equipment (robotics).
