(7) Moses Littlefield was born "178 0" according to the family Bible. The same source also gives "d. 1810 AE 30" which seems to be only a rough estimate. Joshua Gray's diary gives Moses' death as Nov. 2, 1809. Moses signed his will on Oct. 12, 1809 and it was allowed on March 19, 1810. Moses devised to his wife Mary to his son Jacob, -21 and eldest son; to daughter Pheobe, -18; and his youngest sons, Elias and Smith, -21. One Bible entry is a marriage for Moses which reads "married Page" which entry does not agree with Wells m. Ints. between Moses Jr. and Pheobe Maxwell Jan 30, 1802. Phoebe was the daughter of John and Lydia (Varney) Maxwell, the proven wife of Moses by her father's will in which he names Phoebe's son Jacob. Joshua Gray's Diary gives "April 7, 1806, Moses Littlefield's wife died suddenly." Was this Phoebe? Wells records show ints. between Moses Jr. and Mary Ann Jones on July 19, 1806, presumably the widow Mary.

MOSES : Moses is listed in LFNL 4-5,4-6 as a son of Dependence Lfd and Esther Day Moses is not listed in LFNL 7-18 as part of the above family. As of 1997 issue, have no parentage for this Moses.
